A visit to the Minsmere RSPB reserve . Not many bird photo opportunities, but a Wasp Spider was a new species for me.

Butterflies were present in good numbers species included Small Heath, Gatekeeper, Speckled Wood and many Red Admirals nectaring on Hemp Agrimony.

A showy Hummingbird Hawk Moth was on the Buddleias by the toilet block with several species of hoverfly.

A few Migrant Hawkers were performing near Island Mere.

Although I could find no Bee Wolves or other mining bees at the the usual spots, this Ruby-railed Wasp was on the wall of the East Hide.
